2013 Winter Show Entitled: Echoes
Meaning: Looking back on life and feeling like your accomplishments mean nothing now but they have molded you into who you are today.

Audition Process:
LSW Winter Guard auditions start with a three day audition clinic in early November learning basic skills on flags,weapons (rifles and sabres), and contemporary dance fundamentals. Potential members are chosen on the basis of high achievement of academics, strong work ethic, great teamwork skills, and a good attention to detail.

Audition Process:

Summit Lakes Middle School Winter Guard is open to the first 30 interested members of the 7th and 8th grade classes. A commitment financially and scheduled rehearsals/competitions are crucial for placement on the team. An “Interest” camp is held early to mid November, there the final team is selected. Members will learn basic flag, rifle, and dance skills for thier competitive show and the performance at their end of the year pep assembly.
