Dear Choir Families:
Wow! The year has flown by! Next Tuesday, April 15, is our annual Parade of Choirs Concert AT 7 pm in the LSW Field House. Your student should be coming home with call times tomorrow or Monday. This is a great opportunity for you to listen to all of our wonderful choirs at SLMS and LSW! Remember that you can log on to www.charmsoffice.com to locate the calendar (Password is LSWHSMusic) or visit www.titanmusic.org to see all of the coming events in the LSW Music Dept.
We are in search of volunteers who would be willing to sew seams that have ripped on robes & possibly ties before they go to the cleaners in a few weeks It would also be great if that person/persons would be available next year, too. Previously, this has been left to Mrs. Pabst. However, this is a job for choir parents. If you are available, please email me atgaybeth.bingham and I will get you in touch with Mrs. Pabst. Thank you for your consideration, and enjoy the concert on Tuesday!

Here’s the link to the schedule for Lee’s Summit contest on Tuesday (please note the tabs for each room at the bottom of the page):
Sorry this coming so late, but the contest organizer just sent it to us late Saturday night. There are MANY band members on this schedule. Students should arrive at LSHS in the PAC area no later than 15 minutes before performance time. Also, they SHOULD be dressed up for this event.
This is for ALL members of Percussion Class, MOST members of Concert Band, and SOME members of Symphonic Band.
You son/daughter has known about this for three months, and has hopefully been preparing outside of school as well. Each performer will earn a rating. All students who earn a "1" or "2" rating will be eligible for a music letter (given they have fulfilled the other requirements). It is also a part of their grade in band, as it is a requirement for all.
Hope to see you there!

Director of Bands, Lee’s Summit West High School
Good Morning Concert Choir Families!
Attached you will find the information for tomorrow night’s performance at the Kauffman Center. Your student will be given your family’s two tickets today. PLEASE make sure you get these tickets from your students today. Unfortunately, I do not have replacement tickets, and only have an exact number for the students we have. I will impress upon the importance of keeping track of these tickets with the kids today as well.
This performance is a highlight of the year for concert choir. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow night!

Una VocĂ©, Concert Choir and the two combined Men’s and Women’s Choirs all got a “I Exemplary” rating at MSHSAA Large Ensemble Contest today
Dear Concert Choir Families:
As you know, the Concert Choir has been invited to perform at the Kauffman Center next week, April 1, in collaboration with the University of Central Missouri as well as with several KC area High School Choirs. We have been awaiting a final itinerary from UCM, and now have that set (see below). This event requires parents/family to have a ticket to enter the performance. UCM is allowing only 2 tickets per student. Tickets are free, and will be given to students on MONDAY, March 31. Students will travel by bus to the Kauffman Center and can be released to parents following the performance if you would like to drive your student home. Singing in this venue is a tremendous opportunity and I sincerely hope you can attend to support our students.
4:45 Call at LSW to circle drive to load buses
5:00 Depart LSW
6:15 Dress rehearsal in the hall
7:00 Concert Begins
Thank you!
