Hello Parents and Students:
The trash bag fundraiser items will be here for pickup from 2:20-4:00pm this Thursday, May 4th in the Instrumental music room.
We need some parent volunteers to help sort items from 1:30pm to about 2:45pm. Please contact Andrea Kaiser if you can help. Her email address is: akaiser4
Thank you and May the 4th be with you.
The University of Missouri is handling parking differently for State Solo/Small Ensemble Festival this year. The usual parking garage off of Hitt st. is not allowed. They have set aside parking lot AV14 for music festival participants. The bad news is that it is a 20+ minute walk away.
I found that you can purchase a daily parking permit for $4. You can register your vehicle and purchase a VISITOR Lot (UAG) daily pass, effective 4/28-4/29. Lot UAG is near the Student Union where many of our performances will take place. Follow this link to purchase a daily permit:
For free lot AV14 (long ways away):
1. Lot AV14 is located by the Trowbridge Building. The lot is on both sides of East Campus Drive.
The following information has been provided to All State participants. Save a copy for your records!
This year the LSWHS Music Department gave memorable performances at the Kauffman Center and Fascination Photography took some amazing photos of the event. These photos are available to you for purchase! Here’s the good part. 100% of the proceeds go back to our music department.
If you would like to order photos please follow this link:

These will be available until May 1st
Letting you all know that the kids were given the materials to optionally participate in the trash bag fundraiser that goes from now until next Monday, April 24th! The profit made from this fundraiser goes directly into your son/daughter’s fundraising account to be used on music department fees and future trips.
Students received the order form and an informational letter with all pertinent information. Please refer to that for answers to your questions.
ALL money (checks payable to LSW Music Parents) and the order forms are due MONDAY, APRIL 24th.
I am attaching the itinerary for the Titan Harmony trip this upcoming Tuesday, April 11. We will leave during 2nd hour and be back before the end of 7th. Students are asked to wear LSW colors and t-shirts and to bring money for lunch at Crown Center.
We had a slight change of plans this week, as a new opportunity arose for us to make a professional recording at BRC studios, we will no longer be singing at Union Station because of this. Please view the itinerary attached below.
