LSW Una Voce was 1 of 8 high school choirs to advance in a radio competition with a $5000 cash prize. Here is how it works:

Tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec. 4th, 99.7 will broadcast our recording at 7:10 a.m. There will be a 10 minute window after we air to text our support for LSW choir (7:10-7:20 a.m.) The phone number is: 47183 the code you must enter is TITANS.

99.7 the point will broadcast LSW again at 1:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m . Again with a 10 minute text window. We need a huge text turnout to win this first leg of the competition. You can also tweet @997thepoint or like on 99.7 the point’s facebook page.

If we advance to the next level, we’ll go through another round of texting, etc.

WE NEED A HUGE, LOUD SHOW OF SUPPORT via text messaging and Twitter from our entire Titan Family. Thanks for helping out!

Concert Choir Info for Tomorrow

Dear Concert Chorale and Titan Harmony families,

I just wanted to make sure all of you have seen the information regarding Sunday’s performance at Visitation.  In case you have not, I have attached it to this e-mail.

I would encourage all of you to attend and support your student.  Visitation is one of the finest acoustic venues for choral singing in Kansas City, and we have specifically selected music to be sung in this space.   The concert heavily features the Concert Chorale.  The kids are singing very well, and it is going to be a stunning concert.

This is a free event.  We will collect a small donation at the conclusion of the concert, to offset the cost to provide this opportunity to our students.

Please e-mail me if you have any questions.  See you Sunday!

City Card Fundraiser

Hello,

I have more cards if your students have orders that need to be filled or would like to sale.

I will be at the school in a practice room tomorrow, Monday Nov. 5 from 1:30 to 2:45.

Then again from 5:00 till about 6:15.

I will also be at the school Wednesday , Nov. 7 from 9:45 till around 12:30.

Remember that the kids make a 60% profit off of every card they sell.

If these times do not work for you or your student please contact me And we can work something out.

Thank you,

Andrea Kaiser

New Fundraiser

We have another great fundraiser available for students.

We are partnering with City Sampler to sell coupon cards for Sheridan’s Frozen Yogurt and Papa Murphy’s Pizza. Cards sell for $10 each and students will make a $6 profit from each card sold. These cards are a great value. The Sheridan’s card offers savings of $60 and the Papa Murphy’s card has a value of $94. The cards are valid in Lee’s Summit store locations.

Students will sign out cards and will be responsible for any cards that they sign out. They will need to turn in $10 for each card sold or return any unsold cards by November 12 (in two weeks). The value of any unaccounted for cards will be turned into the office and a fine will be assessed to the student. All fines will need to be paid before the student can enroll for classes next year.

I will be at school on Monday, October 29, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in a practice room to sign out cards to students.

Remember, all fundraisers are voluntary; students can choose which fundraisers in which they wish to participate.

Thank you for your continued support of the great kids in the music department.

Please let me know by Wednesday if you will be able to help. All parents (and families) are invited, welcomed and encouraged to come to the event and show support for the band. I hope to see you Saturday!
