Pick up times are RIGHT AFTER SCHOOL UNTILL 4:30. If you are unable to pick up your cookie dough at this time please see if someone else may pick it up for you. If not, please contact me and we can work something out.
TRASH BAGS
Orders are also do THURSDAY, OCT 4. Please turn in order forms in an envelope with the students name and TRAHS BAGS. Please turn it into the lock boxes in the band and choir.
The trash bag fundraiser will be extended until Oct.4.
ALL ORDERS HAVE TO BE TURNED IN ON OCT. 4!!!!
The delivery date will stay the same. It will be delivered on Oct 11. I have to have totals in by Oct 7.
All teachers have order forms or you can go on Charms > forms > student accounts and fundraisers…
1. Trash Bags fundraiser ends OCT.1. I need all orders turned in ASAP because I have to have orders in by Oct 4.
2. Oct. 4 is when the cookies dough is suppose to be delivered. Not sure on times just yet but thinking 2:20 – 6:00.
3. Trash bags will be delivered Oct. 11.
4. If you ordered any Titan jewelry from me on Ice Cream social, It is ready. Let me know and I can get is to you.
If you ordered a hoodie or a sweatshirt….good news….they are in!
Julie Stoehr will be at band practice on Tues night (Oct. 2nd) to hand them out.
There are several opportunities in the coming weeks to volunteer with the Music Department.
Ice Cream Social: There is a desperate need for volunteers to grill and serve food. Please consider volunteering for this event. It will be a great evening!
Tuxedo Fitting times:
The annual LSW Ice Cream Social is next Tuesday, September 11th. This is a great evening where each of the groups showcases pieces that they have been working on since the beginning of the school year.
We will need lots of volunteers to make the evening a success. Volunteers are needed to cook and serve food as well as donate dessert items to be served during the social.
Please go out to Charms and sign up to volunteer for this fun-filled evening!

UPDATE (03/02/2012): Due to a low level of RSVP’s on participation for the Texas Holdem’ Poker Tournament, the event scheudled for Sunday, March 4, 2012 is CANCELLED.
The Lee’s Summit West Booster Club and Music Parents have scheduled a Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament for Sunday, March 4, 2012.
This fundraiser will support the Booster Club for their Sports Coaches Wish List and the Music Parents General Fund for scholarships and awards.

A message from Rick Chapman, Music Parents President:
January has been a busy month and the rest of the year will have many upcoming events and activities.
** Missouri Music Educators Association Conference was held at TanTarA Resort from January 25 to 28.
Our Una Voce Chamber Choir and our Symphonic Band performed in a packed house on Friday, January 27. Both performances brought the house down. The groups performed beyond expectations. AND they were the talk of the conference.
We thank Mrs. Krinke, Mr. Thurmond, and Mr. Harrel for the preparations of the groups.
A special thank you goes to Mark Hereford and Gene Cook for driving the equipment truck on Thursday night and returning on Friday night. On their return, just east of Osage Beach, the truck experienced a breakdown. After getting it repaired, they returned to the school around 9:00 Friday night.
