Titan Harmony Volunteer Help

Great news! Your students will be performing at the we are performing at the Renaissance Festival on Sept. 22! It would be great to have some parent help in getting kids fitted/assigned costumes in preparation for the performance. If we could have some parents who’d be willing to come during the Sat. (Sept. 8) rehearsal from 9 AM-noon, it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Mr. Sullivan at ryan.sullivan@leesummit.k12.mo.us as soon as possible so that he may plan for the rehearsal. Thanks for your help.

Looking forward to seeing you at Tuesday’s ice cream social!

Message to Music Parents

A message from Rick Chapman, Music Parents President:

January has been a busy month and the rest of the year will have many upcoming events and activities.

** Missouri Music Educators Association Conference was held at TanTarA Resort from January 25 to 28.

Our Una Voce Chamber Choir and our Symphonic Band performed in a packed house on Friday, January 27. Both performances brought the house down. The groups performed beyond expectations. AND they were the talk of the conference.

We thank Mrs. Krinke, Mr. Thurmond, and Mr. Harrel for the preparations of the groups.

A special thank you goes to Mark Hereford and Gene Cook for driving the equipment truck on Thursday night and returning on Friday night. On their return, just east of Osage Beach, the truck experienced a breakdown. After getting it repaired, they returned to the school around 9:00 Friday night.
