Titan Harmony Rehearsal/Concert/Party

Parents,

-Here comes the concert! Due to dress rehearsals for ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’ tomorrow evening, rehearsal will only run from 6:00pm – 7:00pm to allow for students to attend the entire rehearsal.

-Call time for the concert next Monday is 4:30pm. It is early so we can walk through logistics on the stage and run some music in the auditorium before the concert. We cannot do it this Thursday because the stage is in use for the play. Titan Harmony will be singing on both concerts, 6:00 and 7:30.

-Finally, the Titan Harmony party will be held at Baylie Anderson’s house on Dec. 18th. I will hand out a sheet tomorrow night with information on the evening.

Let me know if you have any further questions, I’m excited to see you all next week!

Thank you,

Jacob Lowry

Redemptorist Concert on SUNDAY

Dear Choir Families:

This e-mail contains important information regarding Sunday’s performance at Redemptorist Church. An itinerary was passed out to students in Concert Choir today, Titan Harmony students in Freshman Women and Women’s Choir will receive it tomorrow. I have attached it to this e-mail.

I would encourage all of you to attend and support your student. Redemptorist Church is one of the finest acoustic venues for choral singing in Kansas City. We have specifically selected music to be sung in this space. The concert heavily features the Concert Chorale. The kids are singing very well, and it is going to be a stunning concert. This space holds 1200, so bring friends and family!

The students need to arrive to LSW dressed in their performance attire at 12:20 to load the buses. The sanctuary will open at 2:30 for seating, with the concert starting at 3:00. There is not a large lobby for gathering prior to 2:30, also restrooms are limited at the church. There is ample parking next door and behind the church. Please see attached sheet for more details.

This is a free event. We will collect a small donation at the conclusion of the concert, to offset the cost to provide this opportunity to our students.

Please e-mail if you have any questions. See you Sunday!

Amy Krinke and Jacob Lowry

Fall Concert Tomorrow

Good Afternoon!

I am in need of just a few volunteers who can help decorate the stage for tomorrow evening’s choir concert.

This shouldn’t take very long, and the school has the decorations, but I’ve injured both my spine and my foot, and I am not getting around very well!

The stage is available to use between 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm, and I am leaning more toward the 1:30 start time if I can gather enough helpers.

If you can help please just reply with your name, cell number, and availability.

Thank you!

FNL – required for all choir students – ticket and t-shirt information

Dear Choir Families:

ā€œFriday Night Liveā€ is approaching quickly and it is SATURDAY, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. If you are new to the choral program, ā€œFriday Night Liveā€ is the primary Fundraiser for the Choral Department, and the funds raised at this event sustain the choral department for the next school year. FNL is a student-led variety show that features all of the LSW choirs as well as soloists and small groups. It is a high energy and entertaining night, and the kids have an incredible show this year! We have gone over all of this information with classes, so the kids should be able to provide information as well.

FNL T-Shirts: T-Shirts will be on sale TOMORROW, May 1st and Friday, May 2. The T-shirts are adult sizes Small through XXL. They are $10.00 per shirt. Students ordering a shirt must bring their $10.00 no later than Friday, May 2. Shirts will be delivered to students on Wednesday, May 7. Please make checks payable to LSW.

Tickets: This year we are trying out some new options with tickets to meet the needs of our patrons as well as our Choral Department. There are two types of tickets available: General Admission Tickets and VIP Tickets. Tickets will be ā€˜pre-soldā€™ in choir classes the rest of this week, and will open to the general public on Monday.

General Admission Tickets are $7.00 in advance, $8.00 at the door. This is the same type of ticket that we have had in the past. Seats are first come, first served and seating may be limited unless you arrive early to stand in line.

VIP Tickets are $20.00 and are assigned seats in the first several rows of the Center Section of the PAC. Advantages to a VIP Ticket are 1) having the best-available reserved seat, 2) enjoying a front and center view, and 3) no waiting in line or needing to arrive extra early 4) a couple of other fun surprises šŸ™‚

** Performance at FNL is a required part of each studentā€™s semester grade. Students must perform with their choir in order to earn their concert points. Since this is a fundraising event, students who want to watch the show from the PAC must purchase a ticket for themselves. Watching the show from the PAC is not required for a grade.

Thank you for supporting FNL! Please stay tuned for more specific information regarding call times, costumes, and other details. We look forward to seeing you next weekend for a great show!
